STEP NGO has also been and will be for the slum and underprivileged communities. Our team has worked in different parts of Punjab Pakistan especially amongst the brick kilns labor who are modern day slaves. Our fight is to provide such communities in Pakistan with rights they deserve.
Although the Pakistan’s political situation and economical system as well our lack of financial funds has been a large obstacle for us in order to achieve this goal of ours. We have been helping these communities with any help we can provide. Recently STEP organization raised fund locally to distribute food and grocery items to a slum community in Malkanwala Pakistan. Packages were distributed amongst the people which would last for more than a month.
The people of the community were very thankful for the support and we let them know that were are working towards the betterment of their conditions and also would help them even more in future.
