About us

History

STEP is a non profit, volunteer and non Governmental organization. STEP was inaugurated in 2000 with a clear aim to uphold the underserved community and to provide them with opportunities and facilities which would help them grow as a developed community. Our organization started from the city of Faisalabad in Punjab Pakistan and gradually we were able to grow the organization on a larger scale and spread out to other small cities such as Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Gojra.

Goals and Objectives

Initially the organization was solely working on providing free education and training to the children and adults who were unable to learn or go to school due to financial or social circumstances. This including providing education to the street children, young girls and different professional trainings to women who could use skills gained and work to support their families.

Within a few years, we realized that there were more needs of these communities which were overlooked by the governments and these needs although very basic were causing these communities heavy problems. Therefore the team at STEP decided to take further actions and start projects such as Health seminars and camps especially for women, work for the persecution against the minorities in Pakistan and natural disaster aiding projects.

Main objectives:

  • Provide Free of Cost education using informal and formal methods
  • Using modern and self sustainable methods in fields of education and health
