\u00a0In 2016 STEP organization started a democratic education project\u00a0 with Developing School Association<\/a> a Finland based non-profit organization. This turned out to be our premier education project. This is the first project of this nature in the entire country.\u00a0<\/p>

The schools utilize modern technologies such as Laptop computers, internet connection, gaming consoles, Digital cameras, Television screens etc. The students are taught in a democratic way of education where the learning is student based and without any restrictions or implementations.\u00a0<\/p>

The main aim of the centers is preparing the students for a successful professional life where they have practical and technically useful skills and knowledge. Most of the students belong to families which live below the poverty line and this center focuses on students being able to learn and help their families not only for time being but breaking the cycle of generation poverty and lack of education.\u00a0<\/p>

We had started out with one center and within years we went to second and then a third center. Now for over 9 years the centers are up and running and the students are learning everyday.<\/p>
